The development application for 41 residential apartments prepared by PLANNERS NORTH recognised the opportunities and constraints of this direct waterfront site.
The site planning and residential unit configuration considered the location’s strong inherent qualities of aspect, solar orientation and river views. The architectural and landscaping response promotes the scenic qualities of the river environment and successfully integrates the built form.
The development allowed for integration with the riverine environment whilst protecting neighbouring views and enhancing public access and natural attractions, aligned with the objectives of the local DCP and NSW Coastal Policy.
