This site is partly zoned RU2 Rural Landscape and partly identified as Deferred Matter. The applicants wanted to relocate an existing dwelling, providing for alterations and additions and the construction of a swimming pool.
The architects have purposefully increased the setback of the dwelling and reduced the visual impact of the building. A number of specialist reports were prepared to support the application, including an Onsite Wastewater Capability Report to address wastewater removal. A Preliminary Site Investigation Report concluded the land was free from contamination and suitable for the proposed use, and a Site Waste Minimisation and Management Plan (SWMMP) was prepared, support the application.
