Crozier Oval Social Impact Assessment

This project involved the identification and analysis of social impacts associated with a proposal to upgrade a sports field and construct a new grandstand at Lismore. Issues of importance related to the proximity of the field to nearby residential areas, and involved assessment of the impacts of traffic noise and other issues relating to periodic sporting events. The nature and scale of these impacts were analysed in the context of the social benefits/costs involved with the provision of a further regional scale sporting venue. The Social Impact Assessment report accompanied a Development Application to Council.
