This eco-tourism facility is designed to nestle into the northern slope of the site providing an extensive northern solar access and views out for occupants of the eco-tourism facility. The building has been located to ensure that views from the adjoining residential homes to the south are not interrupted and sited to minimise the impact on existing vegetation and preserve the special environmental character of the locality.
This matter was resolved satisfactorily via proceedings in the NSW Land & Environment Court.
